Writer Ben Mears returns to his hometown of ‘Salem’s Lot, Maine, hoping to cast out his own personal devils and find inspiration for a new book. But he soon discovers that a stranger has also come to the Lot — one carrying a secret as old as evil itself. When two young boys venture into the woods and only one returns alive, Mears begins to realize something sinister is at work. His hometown is under siege from forces of darkness far beyond his imagination, and only he, with a small group of allies, can hope to contain the evil growing within the borders of this small New England town.
