Geralt of Rivia is a Witcher — a monster hunter whose magic powers, enhanced by years of brutal training and a mysterious elixir, have made him a brilliant fighter and a merciless killer. His sole purpose is to destroy the monsters that plague the world. But not everything monstrous-looking is evil, and not everything fair is good. Told through a series of interconnected short stories steeped in Slavic mythology and dark fairy tale retellings, this is where the legend of the Witcher begins.
